Powerflex Bushes - has anyone fitted them?

Post by duncan »

Just trying to establish whether this is placebo effect or whether the improved steering/handling bite is worth any trade off with road noise.

i have them fitted all round and they are a good way to firm up the handling :)

definitely recommended for the GT4, and i assume the same goes for other cars too. i cant say there was any significant increase in road noise either

I went for the full bifta on my Sierra and would recommend them highly. Much tauter (or appeared to be) and economical to buy if not to fit. Surprised you're looking into this so soon after a conversation we had at Cadwell re: keeping car relatively standard for now ride wise :?

we use on most track/competing cars in one form or other............personally stay away fromsome of the cheaper (read less flexible/harsher) types, only got really good results with Powerflex, particuarly if its a road car...................

learnt years ago that you can have too much 'stiffness' and believe me it just wants to snap things!!! oooh err............
