Machinists to tap an intercooler

Anyone know anyone locally (to Ely) that could drill a hole in my intercooler and tap it to take my charge temp gauge thingy :) ?

lloyd, you are just some sort of super star - can you machine basically anything?

trouble is - the car (with intercooler in situ) and the bit will/can be with me - but it will take me a while to get the intercooler off and then machine it etc, clean out swarf, fit thingy and put back together..... i would mss out on the drinking, socialising :(

or even standens near the railway station or even the people that make the farming stuff in aldrith

Are you sure you need to dril and tap??

Don't these just have a pair of wires that slip under one of the rubber hoses?
