Lacquer delaminating from paint

Not that I clean it very often :oops: but I have noticed that the lacquer is delaminating from the paint on the rear nearside wing....

I guess the only option for me is to strip and re-paint ?

sounds like they did not key the paint before they applied the lacquer mate. will have to strip it back and repaint it.

I think you're right John, but you may be better off waiting until Gary (shooter) has had a look at it, he may have a miracle cure for you :)

Sounds like Boxy's right, the paint on that wing has been scratched on that wing, no where near the delamination so Its not related, it badly needs a re-spray in that quarter anyway.....

Guess I'll be getting the spray gun out then :roll: eventually :grin:

Yep sorry its a respray job, as Boxy said poor pre paint preperation :(
