Right I know where I can get a down pipe fairly cheap for the Skyline and was wondering how many horses will this give me and whether its worth doing?

Don't know how many horses .. I had Apexi GT downpipes fitted along with the decat and the hks silent and it made one hell of a difference ....
It's got to release some more horse power as it's just another restriction.

I would say you should release between 5-10 brake, but its the spool up you'll notice most (with the noise)

Remember boxy sometimes you get what you pay for, be carefull if its an ebay special! Some cheap exhaust parts crack in next to no time

I noticed Spool up was much better, Torque increase as well.
After having bought a downpipe and run it for a while, I went to Power and Performance in Honningham, (Mark) who made a complete bespoke system, two pipes, one from each Turbo all the way to the back.
The workmanship cannot be faulted, the quality of the stainless is superb, and I have to say pretty damn cheap as well
And it sounds good as well 8)
