I helped fitting an RB26 with RB25 gearbox into my mate's S14 a little while back.

With the RB25 front crossmember and engine mounts it pretty much just bolts straight in. Bit of messing around with the power steering lines required and you need to 'massage' the transmission tunnel a bit to get the gearbox in, but physically fitting the engine and gearbox isn't too much of a drama.

Ive gone for something slightly more affordable... the RB20DET conversion, 1st one in Europe apparently and its superb.
Any RB in a 200sx is gonna be a worthwhile swap, and the steering response/feel is improved at the same time. :)

"Purplepower" over on the SXOC forums has the S14 RB26DETT car thats possibly referred to in hybrid dreams' post... running just under 500bhp @the flyI think.

This is his car:

Thanks for the compliment Stuart, I spent a while trying to get a 'factory fit' look.
Glad its paid off too, as a few folk have commented on how neat it looks.

Even manage to shut the bonnet with no mods too. :-D

Im glad I could give p/p some good publicity too, thats one awesome S14. 8)
