When I had the scoob, it had every concievable suspension extra on, whiteline and Cusco bars, alk, anti roll bars, drop links ect. As well as uprated springs and dampers.
The skyline, has adjustable dampers and coilovers and standard upper strut braces already.
What other stuff is available (Anti Lift Kit? underside braces? Better drop links?)? Anything that will make a positive difference to the handling.
Which manufacturers are highly regarded by the Skyline people?
Thanks

You looking for sympathy, it's between shit and syphilis in the dictionary, you won't get any from me
In terms of suspension it depends ,in my opinion, on how stiffly you want it to be. My car is quite track biaised and its comfort is in direct accordance with that. I have Nismo arms for the front and the back of the car and I have Cusco pillow ball tension rods on the front for as much camber as I can get. This is on top of custom St Bosoe coilovers :thumb: (made by Mazdaspeed apparently)
Brands are all much the same as the Imprezas. I have tried the Whiteline stuff and to be honest got mixed results. ARB's are great but their castor adjustor kit was shocking in my opinion. May well be worth a drive in a few others first before you get your wallet out

On the scoob the ARB's made a bit of difference, but the greatest little bit of kit was the anti lift kit, kept the car level under hard acceleration and drive was so much better and controlable. This car doesn't seem to lift quiet as much when I floor it, but will still try and find a kit for it
I'm after a more 'fast road' set up than out and out track. The damper settings are about right for the roads about here. I've GOT to get the ride height raised (should be next week), then i'll have more idea about how it drives. I'll get the laser alignment done as well.
Don't remember the name or where I saw it, but there is a 'body bar' (?) like a triangle made from alloy tubes, that fits under the front wings, meant to stiffen the car length ways. Anybody using them or know if they are any good?

They are reputed to be superb, RK tuning do the underbody ones not sure about the ones in the wings.........you may need to try Newera or GT Culture for that. Zak may be able to help there as well (Mocom Racing)
If you don't have them, camber adjustable top arms would be my first purchase, from someone like Rising Sun performance or Ron @ RK again. If you need any contact details PM me.

That's great m8.
I'm finding locating suppliers, a lot harder than I did for the scoob. There seemed to be thousands of sites for them with pages of bits. For the Skyline I find some sites and they have maybe ten items.
On holiday soon, so I might be calling or visiting some suppliers to (RK for instance) get some more advice
