Spikey boost

When I last had my car on the rollers Clive mentioned that my boost was spikey!
What can I do to control it?
What do you guys think?

What are you using to set it at the moment? I'm guessing its not just standard.

Standard solenoid.

Also getting boost/fuel cut.
