Guys,
Need a replacement gasket for my turbo (GT35/40) to downpipe.
Looks like this (lovely tablecloth behind eh!)
Any ideas ?
Cheers,
Gareth

Lovely Table Cloth Gareth, I bought original Subaru turbo gasket set on e-bay, you could make one out of klingerite or other graphite based gasket material but original is best

I never used gaskets as I was advised not to. I had both faces machined perfectly flat and bolted them up. My turbo guru (Geoff Kershaw of TT) told me a gasket was just something that will fail, he is right, why bother with it?

i agree if surface is flat and clean go with no gasket, it might leak slightly when cold
that gasket is cheap nasty one, a nice one would have a metal lip all round inside

Do you make your own then Gary or get them from someone else ?
