Alloy wheel protection

Post by pablo »

Will be repainting a set of alloys. What is the best method of protecting them from brake dust apart from not driving the car.

A decent alloy wheel armour or sealant will do the job. Car-chem do a good one as do Angelwax and Collinite. You could apply a wax designed for paintwork but the wheel specific ones are better suited to high temperatures.
