Vinyl graphics

Morning

Okay so, vinyl graphics. From what I remember a couple of you guys on here print the stuff. I'm making a working desktop Nintendo arcade cabinet (because I'm bored recently) and will obviously at some point need to have proper graphics printed to finish it off. So I have a couple of questions loaded.
What is the clarity like for graphics printed on a small scale? The cabinet art I've put together is a high quality so in theory it should come out pin sharp. Is this the case?

The art work in photoshop is 1:1 scale to what I need. Will the printing machine know that this is the exact size that it needs to print, or do I need to also supply extent dimensions?

Think that's about it for the moment, here are some obligatory photos of my progress.

It works much like a printer Dan, so you can use a really high dpi to get the clarity that you are after. Quality costs though, so be cautious of using especially cheap options.

Nice project that........when I saw the thread title I had visions of you doing the Pajero up :)

Cool, just the answer I was looking for.

Haha, no. I have seen other Pajeros stickered up (and tbh they do really suit them) but I don't think I'll be going down that route. ;)

One thing that may be worth considering is durability your require. Vinyl's, like all things can be bought in different standards to give you more flexibility in moulding to different shapes, and UV protection to stop discolouring too. Dan, I have a trade supplies catalogue here if you want it? It's a couple of years old but the principles will be the same and at least it will give you an idea of what to ask for.......it's quite bulky but I could always bring it along to the next meet or you could come to the house if you wanted to collect it

Sounds good to me mate, It's not going to be completed anytime soon. I'll have a gander through it at Garys if you don't mind. I'll bring it along too.
