Where do you guys that weld get your steel from?

I need some 3/4mm steel bar to make up some seat sub frames. Anywhere local that isn't going to want me to buy 8 tonnes of the stuff in one go?

Cheers

Based in Wymondham, they are very helpful, reasonable and have tonnes of stock.
Not close to you Maff, but maybe someone could get you some or bring it to a meet?

I reckon 3m of anything between 25-50mm by 3/4mm aught to do it.

If I remember rightly the bride ones in 200 were made of 25mm x 3mm? Not got them any more to measure.

Cheers matey.

I usually keep stock of suitable stuff to do my custom subframes. Will talk to you about it when you come see the wheels.
