Front Brake Pads

Has anybody used the Blackdiamond Predator brake pads on track and if so what were they like I need to put new front pads on my Subaru which is currently being run on yellowstuff but would like a comparison if possible

Bet they are pretty average at best Harry! Get some Carbotech's in there or Performance Friction!

Yes, i have changed Black Diamond discs and pads on customers cars as they were not impressed.

Or Carbon Lorraine or Hawks or just about anything other than Black Diamond :)
I haven't tried the predator ones but then I haven't tried painting my house with bird shit and I am equally sure the BD pads would be about as wise!!

Don't do it H..........there must be other choices
I have just searched for prices and the BD pads are really cheap............do you reckon that they'll stand track abuse Harry?

I had them on my old Scoob before fitting the Brembos. I never used them on track but I don't think they would be much good as they were only average on the road.

Thanks Chaps Back to Yellowstuff I think, they seem to suit me and the car
Stuart their track pad is quoted as an FT372 suitable to 520 deg C without fade for 4 pot Subaru callipers they quot

Harry, there is also better than Yellowstuff but if your happy with them then thats the main thing!

Piontless really but on my light weight AX Blackdimond discs have been the best ive tried loads as they are solid and not vented ive had loads of problems with warping untill i tried them....

Hello Logan thanks for the info, I don't think I put the same heat or braking forces in that you do almost sedentary by comparison
