Has anybody tried these yet?

Seem to have good reviews and the best bit apparently come with 8mm of tread and same compound as r888's -also not too bad price

Thinking of trying them as mine eats front r888's in 1500 miles

No tests but I'd be worried about having as much as 8mm tread. R888's always seem to behave best when they are down to about 3mm all over and if the Yokohama's are the same compound, they would surely react in the same way?

(I mean in terms of the rubber folding over along the ridge/cut lines) How do they compare price wise? Dearer, cheaper? What sort of availability etc

Do you keep your car road legal Scott?

Cant check the tyre depth at the moment (i'm several thousand miles away from the car), but lots of extremely positive feedback on the DC2 integra website. I have had them for a few weeks of running and 1 sprint, where i was going very stong till i broke the clutch and gearbox.

I was soundly thrashed by a guy using them at Hethel in the same car (he also had less power) i was on well worn Hancook RS2's and i'm guessing that they didn't get enough heat into them (or i was crap - but as if thats possible:rolleyes:)

Haven;t done a track day on them yet, but fine on the road. I was really getting them scrubbed in properly when i broke it.

hope that helps
