Makes for interesting reading. I knew nothing about deflation in between track use or storage at room temperature after an event

I vaguely remember seeing this posted somewhere a while back.
I bet most people do not know about this so good heads up Stu.
Do these instructions come with the tyres then?

Knowing how you fare in warm weather James, I think that could cover both of us :)

I wonder how many tyre dealers store these for at least 24 hours at room temperature before fitting?

I wonder how many people actually follow these instructions generally and whether this has a bearing on the old, familiar tyre wear we all get with them? (Where you seem to wear the treat pattern in an irregular fashion)

I did post this a while back. :)

The stickers were on the tyres I won in the Toyo Champ. and came direct from Toyo. Previous purchases from Camskill didn't have any warnings and someone said that Camskill import their own from somewhere.

Alan Meaker reckoned that the uneven wear, you mention and we saw at Snett. is normal.

And there was me thinking that I was being helpful :D 1-0 to Gerry!

You're right about Camskill and Mr Meaker's observations. Normal for treble eights though, or normal for tyres of that type of construction? I have never seen any of the other track day tyres go the same way, although I'll admit that I am not as familiar with the likes of DJ01/02/03, Yokohama A032 or A048's etc
