which alloys to go for?

Post by Rob_B »

hello chaps,
i will be looking for new alloys for the S3 once i have worn down these nasty, what feel like fork lift truck tyres which are on it

going to be going for 18" as not to upset the ride and handling etc..

im in two minds at the moment of what ones to go for, either the subtle and stock looking RS4's(which come on this car standard if it was made 6months later) or to go for the BBS CH's?? what are people opinions?

i want the are to look very very subtle if not stock, which sways me towards the nice chunky 10spoke RS4's...however the BBS CH's are an awesome looking wheel and will look pretty subtle on the car too

here are a couple of pics of the two option - bare in mind the black s3 with the bbs ch's are 19" i will be going for 18"

please fill in the poll, and give me you opinion to colours and possible other options(not too many as i dont want to be more confused:thumbs:)

You know what i think already BBS CH's

Maybe a different color choice possibly? Satin/Matte Black possibly... Even with a red lip to go with the S-Line colors would look quite aggressive, we can get them sprayed back cheap enough to a stock colour if you grow tired of it?

The RS4's are nice but you see a lot about on Golfs and so on and a lot of replicas.

I've made a couple of assumptions, but the Rochfprd tyres site is quite good. Is 112 vs 114 close enough?
