Das MG

Post by maff »

Wierdness happened on the way home from work today... had the wifes MGZT and as i dropped a mate off up popped a message "Tur offnen" thats bloody wierd i thought, next thing was the speedo started binging id exceeded 80kph.... the whole message center in the dash has turned German.

Had a look on the owners club and they say in an old post that an MG garage with a "T4" (whatever the feck that is) can reset it to English, but theyre a bit thin on the ground.

I'll try leaving the battery off tonight, but i must have inadvertently pressed something to get it to go german, so presumably i can press something to change it back?

Hope leaving the battery off works, dont want to get up in the morning to find the cars disapeared to invade poland. :biggrinjester:

"Switch off!"
AT least if it has turned German, residuals will improve as well as build quality ;)
