Hi and happy new year to all
I fired up the scooby today and found air bubbles in the coolant tank,Its got to be a head gasket unless someone can tell me different .Its been standing for 3 months and prior to that it was off the road for nearly a year, not good. Can anyone tell me the name of a good machine shop in the Norwich area as it will need a head skim , and hopefully its just a gasket gone.:Chevy_anim:

Unless you've got lots of trapped air in the cooling system. Get a sniff test done to confirm.

If you do end up doing head gaskets it might be a good opportunity to change the cambelt/tensioners and other belts if they haven't been done yet. Might be a good time to do any mods you've been itching to do while the engine is out. ;)

Just a thought!! :D

If you do need any engineering work done, I would strongly recommend Damico on the Roudham Ind. Est near Larling. Darren was very helpful with the work he's done for me and great prices too.
