As the title suggests, Is there any benefit to wearing these?
I can understand wearing a suit and gloves for safety reasons (and boots if they are fire resistant) But i can't believe for one minute that most people wear race boots for a fashion statement, So what's the advantage?

Cheap as chips mate. Just think; if you notice the benefit when you're driving on the road, just imagine what they'll feel like when you overstep the mark on the track.....
