Headlight Problem

Post by Mr Windscreen »

The MX 5 is due an MOT and we have found a problem with the headlights. They come on and work fine but when you try main beam they turn off! The bulbs are new and all the wiring look fine so i havn,t got a clue as to why they are messing around. Any idea,s?

I had a similar problem on the 32. It turned out to be the switch burned out and was sorting out.

Sounds like Nik could be right with the dodgy switch then.

Or maybe a sticky relay?
