Anyone used this system on their car?

If so what do you think about the system? Where did you buy it from?

The T.P.M.S system constantly monitors tyre pressure and temperature.
The system alerts the driver when tyre pressure or tyre temperatures
are abnormal. It is totally wireless and CE Certified.

In the USA T.P.M.S is required to be fitted by law on new vehicles from
September 2007. Many European vehicles already have this system
installed. It saves fuel, it saves tyre wear, it saves lives.

Gary and I looked at this (or something similar) for our track cars. In that application, you're in pretty regularly checking pressures and temps, well Gary does , and therefore we both agreed it was a bit overkill. In a road car, I can completely see the point.

Are they still about

For track i didn't see the point as i'm interested in the varying temperatures across the tyre, not just a general temp...

Try the alfano item.

I've bought this kit and will report on how i find them.

You know me Stuart, i'd rather look at a digital disply than get out of the car and check them manually. lol...

Of course i will check them every now and then to adjust where necessary.
