Take a look at my plugs

Whipped these out at the weekend and replaced them with a spare 2nd hand set I had. I've got a new set on the way same as these, NGK BKR7EIX

Have you been using any fuel additives or octane booster Scott? My old plugs looked like that after using octane booster a few times :oops:

No nothing, although I keep getting the idea it may be getting a bit of water :(

i went through a set of plugs every month when i had the mini with all the additives and boosters it used to have :lol:

they look a touch toasty bud.... have u got a afr meter. if not borrow one

Somehow you're getting condensation in your spark plugs, could be a leaky head gasket, may be worth a pressure test?

Cheers for the replies. I've got an AFR guage so I can check it. Having said that they look a bit pale on the photos, but they look better in the flesh, more of a tan colour.

More concerned about water tbh
