Would just like to thank supertyres at maldon for all the hard work trying to sort out the dogs breakfast of a geometry set up on my car. I found out why my car was suffering with bad under steer, passenger side was toeing in 0.28 driver side 0.11 had only 2 degrees of camber on the front. Rear toe was facing out with no rear camber. On the front i now have -3.41 degrees of camber. Because i have not got top adjustable platforms they machined the bolts down by 2mm to get the angle. And on the rear they machined the bolts down from 14mm to 11mm to give me rear camber of -2.39 degrees. they did all this set all casters, toes, cambers, steer ahead, thrust angle.

Sounds very good Mike but I have a complaint to make.
You're already a very quick talented driver and your car is a well proven missile. Why the Hell do you have to move the goalposts again
Thanks for the headsup about the service. Damned handy for anyone darn sarf.

Thanks for that thing is i was so used to the way the car handled and its little problems i probley wont be able to drive it, where before i new what it was going to do its probley going to bite me and captain gerry will be the one to catch. Looking at where me and gerry have been placed at the honnington sprint with two formula jedi,s megabusa westfield, and a vandimen should be interesting.

I'll second Mike's recommendation for Supertyres.
Took mine down there a couple of weeks ago and one up on the lift, they pointed out that the rear bushes are almost shot. Didn't get charged, even for the printout of the current settings and I came away to get bushes for them to fit for me once I'm ready.

Thats an awful lot of negative camber. You might want to do some testing to make sure the temperature profile doesnt ramp toward the inner edge.

It does seem like a lot. With just 1.5deg all-round on my compromise road/track version 6, I get the inner edge of the tread hotter than the rest, at all 4 corners, even after a session round Oulton Park. What tyre wear do you get with that camber Mike?

I bet Mike has no idea, what he does know is his car is muchos quick now, Normally he is 2-3 seconds quicker than me but with new Rally Inters and this set-up he was 5-6 quicker at Honington!!!
I'm sure he's not bothered about wear either
