hi there what is the best ride hight for my bug eye sti as at the moment it's on spaxx collies and it's flat out as thats how i bought the cra so whats the best hight to rise it to as i want to fit a front and rear anti roll bar but can someone advise on whats the best front and rear anti roll bar?

I can't advise you on the specifics of the Impreza ride height but I can tell you that Whiteline seem to be one the more popular ranges of ARBs for most Japanese cars.

I run a Perrin rear bar and a whiteline front.

I have a 22mm Adjustable front ARB for sale which would save you a few pennies and is the perfect size/strength for yours.

Height wise, measure it from the wheel arch to the centre of the wheel and post the figures up but you really need to check the angles of the suspension arms under the car to make sure they are still pointing up towards the centre of the car when looking from the front. Too low and you will actually make it roll more.

As Dunc says, you don't want to go too low. Putting a steel rule across the top of the tyre and measuring from that to the arch (ignore the plastic liner) is the easiest way. On a classic scoob you want about 32mm front, 37mm rear, although I've now gone 5mm lower than that, without upsetting the angle of the suspension arms.

Does the car have adjustable centre diff? If so, 22mm front and rear, both adjustable would be a good choice for road and track. Consider Whiteline droplinks at same time (not sure if the newage has plastic rear ones like the classic did?). Eddy's yer man for Whiteline, top bloke.

If non-dccd, then it's possible to run harder rear bar and standard front to good effect. Standard front will be 20mm I guess?

If you change the height much then get it re-aligned afterwards, of course.
