Brake Fluid

just out of curiosity how often should the brake fluid be changed if the car does regular trackdays? :)
I miss my scooby :(

Bleed mine every track day and flush through every 3 or so never had brake fade yet and iam running non vented discs although i nam not trying to stop much weight.

ok cheers m8, thats what i suspected but had a argument with somebody yesterday who said it dosent ever need changed!! :o

As brake fluid is hygroscopic (it readily absorbs moisture from the air), this absorption of water lowers the effective boiling point and this absorption of moisture starts the minute the container is opened. For this reason, to maintain the brake systems performance, the fluid should be changed at least on six monthly intervals.
