Alpinestars gloves and boots

My old Sparco boots and gloves have done me proud but they are over 5 years old now and the boots are knackered. Great timing on my part meant that I could use some previously spoken for dosh to equip myself with some safety gear, just in time for a few events.

Being an old tart I was equally concerned with the aesthetics as the performance and no-ones product range is more bling that Alpinestars :D 8)

The lightest, most fire retardant product range is ludicrously titled (and priced) but Mr Hayward of AP Tuning sourced them for me at a really cracking price. Looks like all of the chocolate biscuits have started paying off :lol:

The Gloves

Image

* FIA Approved/Complies with New FIA 8856-2000 standard.
* SFI 3.3/5 approved.
* All Nomex construction.
* Ergonomically positioned pittards micro perforated leather palm and finger reinforcements with minimal padding for sensitivity and grip.
* Padded knuckle protection.
* Alpinestars exclusive cuff opening design.
* Velcro wrist closure for secure fit.

These little puppies are gorgeous and way more comfortable than my previous Sparco jobbies, themselves

If you haven't got the car for it you could always run round the track to show them off :D

They look really cool Stuart and the Black and White theme is perfect!! Love B&W 8)

As long as hey are lightweight and comfy what the hell about the cost. The only thing that worries me about wearing all the gear is how hot and sweaty it might get inside the boots, gloves, racesuit, helmet and all those layers on a track day in the height of summer with no aircon....phew :o

Nice one though!! :thumb:

The bags look very cool and i like the one that dries and ariates your kit, just the ticket!!

I was thinking more along the lines of keeping you cool while in the car driving, bearing in mind car air conditioning sucks valuable bhp.

Has anyone invented a keep you cool race suit yet with built in aircon or something similar!! :D

If not when i've invented it i hope you'll all buy one :thumb: ;)
