repackable silencers

has anybody any experience using these ie. do they restrict the flow too much and can you fine tune them for
noise issues . theres nothing really wrong with my system other than it weighs a bloody ton :-D

My simpson exhaust has repackable race silencers in it. No different really to that of a regular silencer but they can be unbolted and separated to re pack the wadding inside.

Yes,
Simpson do them and so do a couple of my suppliers.
Isn't the system on your BM a twin though. I am not sure if you can get the repackable type in twin boxes. You may have to go for 2 singles.

yes eddy i was thinking of running 2 single ones where the cats are and side exit the pipe . what are the details of the ones you do .

There is no restriction as they are straight through resonator boxes.
I think it will be very loud with no cats, which act as silencers, and just a couple of these. Bm's are highly silenced with a couple of cats, a couple or resonators and a large baffled backbox.

You could always put a turbo in there to quieten it down lol
