Had a bit of a prang ... anyone have bodyshop recommendations?
Need to get a quote for insurance purposes, first off.

Got a good bloke in Milton Keynes but he's too cheap for insurance jobs. Good repairer and painter though.

I've had a little scrape in the daily tracktor, and am also looking for a decent place in cambridge. My insurance have gog-magog garage on their approved list. Long shot, but has anyone any experience of them?

(Sorry to stamp on your thread Andy but it may help you too :) )

I got a quote from the fulbourn branch of the gog-magog repairer - they seemed efficient whilst I was there. Haven't got back to me with a quote yet, although maybe they were put off by me having got an independent quote elsewhere first (which they would have found out when they phoned the local scoob dealer for parts prices). Small place in Saffron Walden came across very well, very prompt with quote. Also have a local recommendation (Castle Camps) if you're paying for it yourself. These are just the ones I've come across in making enquiries, I've no personal experience of the quality of their work (yet).

Cheers Andy,

The insurance are paying for it, but we still have a choice to take the car where we want it repaired. I intend to keep the car for many a year so would like to know it has been repaired well.

I think I will pay a visit to gog-magog and take a look around
