exhaust flow question

i just got my apexi downpipes to meet up to the tomei turbo elbows i have and i think the guy gave me the incorrect measurements becuase the downpipes are smaller than the turbo outlet pipes, this means where they join there is about 2mm all the way round on the inside, would this make any significant performance loss as the gases will be hitting a 2mm wall as they exit the turbo outlet pipe and go into the downpipe?

sorry if ive not made it very clear.

What are the sizes involved?
I would say that it will not be a problem for the power you are looking for but put a chamfer on the offending edge to help smooth the flow.

sizes are 72mm joining to a 65mm (both internal) so thats a 3.5mm ridge all the way round.

i would also just like to point out that the workmanship/quality of the apexi item is terrible compared to the tomei items.
