Well what can I say.

With speed competition this weekend with MLR, I called Gary to see if he would mind having another look at my cars MAP, just to check it was safe and perhaps eek a bit more power out of it .

Here the results. I think it will be quick!

Wow. 2.5bar and 720bhp! IS it an expensive process to get an Evo engine rugged enough to reliably run those numbers?

Yes and No if that makes sense. :? :-D

The motors are very robust IMO and parts are not mega money + readily available.

Far too much torque for the chassis. It really is knocks the wind out of you when it digs in and goes.

We also did a nice safe pump fuel map for the track with 500ish BHP. Which is more than enough for me!

To be fair the car has had some SERIOUS abuse (about 200+ dyno runs) Drag type events, revved to 9k, and it still holding together and making good power.

I might have to get an Evo!

720 out of a 35R??? you sure it was only 100 octane

thats massive power from one of those turbos (i had one too) what exhaust housing was used?
