Which Spark Plugs?

I have been told to get a cooler heat range of spark plugs. I have found that GReddy (NGK) heat range 8 are the way to go for GT-Rs.
There are two types of them, ISO which is the Iridium tips and JIS Pro Platinums (both from GReddy).
The only real difference I can see from the two are that the Pro Platinums have a longer life cycle.
Any suggestions??? :-D

Got with the iriduim tips - I change my plugs every 6000 miles, plugs don't last on the GTR - usually the first sign that it is time to change is little pockets of hesistation as you accelerate.
I've used the Greddy branded NGK's and now the Iridiums and had no problems, only thing is they've needed to be gapped to 0.8mm

Iridium seems to be the most common choice.

GTR uses - GREDDY 8 NGK IRIDIUM - the code on the collar is T7341-8
Just took one out to check
You can also use NGK BKR8EIX which are cheaper, but the high power boys recommend the Iriduim. Also expect to pay

The main problem i've found is that all the websites have listed the plugs for a standard skyline - you have to make you own choice ... but general rule of thumb is go cold.

You can still order those from sparkplugs.co.uk Bryan. I get my iridiums from them. You just need to search by product rather than car model. Usually delivered within 2 days aswell.

I hear more drivers of track cars running very high revs for long periods are better off on Copper cores. The reason being that Iridium plugs can still be glowing after they have finished a cycle, and that can lead to Detonation as the glowing plug is then igniting the fuel that's just entered the cylinder before it needs to be.
Either that or run much coooler Iridium plugs.
