Stupid question as I cant find fitting instructions for the 6 point harnesses I have got.
Where should the two straps that go up between your legs be ideally attached (obviously the floor before some smart arse....)? Is there an ideal placement ?

I would have said either directly parallel to end of the cushion at the front of your seat a couple of inches or so under the seat at the front. I have seen a bucket seat in the past that has a slit a couple of inches in at the front of the seat for those very straps to go through. Never seen one again since though.
In a Scooby i would be inclined to attach it to the box section under the seat that runs across ways.

All fitted now - I got some great spreader plates from Alyn at ASP that just meant I had to drill the floor and screw the eyebolts through and into these.
Perfect

Thats what I did.
Wanted to make sure the 6-point harness was properly secured to the floor. Drilled two holes.
Made spreader plate for the top, sprayed holes and plate and fitted eyelets
Used the plates I`d bought at Autosport to secure the eyebolts under the car :thumb:

Check the blue book as I think there are maxium/minimum angles in place for crutch straps.

This is a worthwhile find.
I have a 6 point to go in but the instructions with it may as well be in greek
Didn't think to look in the Blue Book

I couldnt see any pictures in the Blue Book or anything describing the exact location of these.

Page 178 shows a 'typical' installation but no detail for crotch straps.

It used to be in the old section "E".
