Oil Sump and Baffles

Been investigating various options on this.

Firstly I believe the 2006 STi sumps are of the narrower design like the spec c to help alleviate surge.

Secondly I am looking to modify the std sump to improve the baffling. I have pictures ad spec of the group N arrangement and will be seeing how easy it is to implement this into the design of my sump.

Anyone any thoughts on the group N design and whether it works ?

ps - I have never seen oil surge as yet on my car at any track.

API baffled my sump when they did the engine build. But don't know if it made any difference as I never saw it before or since.

Not much of a contribution really
