Do intercooler spray bars or water jets make any noticeable difference to the performance of the car :?:

I dont think they are noticeable but they do help with reducing charge temps a bit but to be honest I wouldnt bother the effects arent worth the cost or effort.

i have thought about this a bit aswell, but in are climate its just not needed not even in the summer. i think its only of use is for the big drag monsters sitting on the line getting hot.

i knocked this up during an idle afternoon
that is for the powersteering however, no need for a spraybar as intake temps never get over 30c on track.

And sprint/hillclimb cars where you have to sit, waiting for your turn. Top mount coolers are particularly prone from heat soak that kills the starts.
Wouldn't have thought it to be of much benefit on a circuit car.

Not with a front mount.
