wheel alignment

is there anybody local to ely that could do me a wheel alignment on my bmw, i'll have to take it on my lorry so didn't
really want to go to norwich . any help would be appreciated

Ely tyres and Magnum both do four wheel alignment apparently. Or get your plumb line out and DIY :thumb:

thanks duncan have you used them before for anything , is this somthing that can be done by any tyre place as i thought it was
a bit specialised 8)

I think it depends on whether you want it set to factory settings, 'straight' or something more complicated. If you have a series of settings that you want them to try, why not call them first and see if they can do it.........they should be able to do anything that's not too extreme as you don't have adjustable anything (I presume)

Yes,
As Stu says, if you want factory settings most places will do a reasonable job. If you want something more track orientated you either need recommended settings from say a BMW tuner to give to a 'normal' alignment outfit or go to a specialist alignment company like Autotest who will probably tweek the standard settings for you if you say what you are trying to acheive. Personally mate, i would do the latter. They have an excellent reputation.

Jason - i use them to swap over all my wheels. I have chatted to the guys down there about geometry and they have good equipment and will either set to factory settings or your own.
