Tein rebuild/ replace

I have a set of Tein HAs on my drift Silvia, and one of them has died :(. There is now play i the shaft which is really not good on a car with McPherson struts, as the wheels can now move too. Avoiding the long stories about the dodgy importer and my missing Cusco dampers, I need to get these fixed asap so I can get to more events and the much needed practice.

Does anyone know where I can get them rebuilt? or if there is play in the shafts on a strut, are they just too far gone?

I doubt Tein will rebuild a set of HAs now as they've been out of production for a few years now.

Worth an ask, but I reckon you'll be looking at a new set.

I called Tein, who suggested taking it to see Gary at APT, but if there was play then it almost definitely need replacing. And they don't sell single units or pairs. You have to buy the whole set of 4. :x

Since I have 3 good shocks, i would much rather just buy a new pair for the front axle. I need any spare money to get the safety gear for next years BDC and get Gary to do some mapping work on the engine.

Anyone interested in a pair of Teins for the rear of an S body nissan?
