Carbon sideskirts and splitter. *Updated*

Fitted my new carbon fibre sideskirts the past couple of days.

Decided to do this properly as with all jobs on this car and have reinforced my original Nismo sideskirts with a set of metal brackets which i made to bolt the skirts to the chassis so there is no problem carrying the new skirts and the downforce they may produce or the unexpected speed bump incident! Also took the original skirts off and added a load more sealant to bond them to the body stronger.
Fitting the new skirts was a mixture of cutting various holes in them to allow acess to the jacking points and also measure measure, measure again to ensure they were set parallel!
This has not been a fun job in this weather we have had as i have just parked the car on a couple of blocks of wood and been lying under it!

Anyway here is a few pictures i took today after a winter maintenance wash!!

Whats your opinions please?

Like the skirts......still unsure on the canards. I'll reserve final judgment until I see the front splitter in place.

I think (hope) it will bring the whole package together when the front splitter is on.

Ian, as much as I admire your dedication to making this a great looking car (not that it wasnt anyway), those sills and canards must be an absolute nightmare hacking away at your ankles. I know how many times I have hit my front splitter with mine.

I am not too sure on it at the moment - hopefully the front splitter will bring it all together :thumb:

I was expecting not to like it - but think it looks great - however if those bloody things throw up more stone and sh*t as your rear splitter does now I'll never follow your car again!!!!!..
