GReddy Profec A boostcontroller set up

Dear all,

I bought a Profec A from japandyno few weeks ago. The manual doesn't give very much information about setting it up.

So, I installed the device, also the controller valve. It wants to learn in "P1" mode (stock base boost level) but the turbo spools always up too much (overboost) which means the controller doesn't have any clue what is going on.

The manual says I will not be able to boost below the stock base boost level. Does this probably mean that the stock boost controller still needs to be a part of the "boost controller"?

I installed the GReddy "stand alone", stock boost controller is just plugged in that the ECU doesnt give a failure.

Thanks for your help.

Can't help much other than to suggest trying a Google search for 'profec B settings Legacy' and see what that yields.

Worked when I wanted info on the same thing for the GTR :thumb:

Of course I already did that before. Here is the manual : http://www.silviansw.com/manuals/ProfecA.pdf not very user friendly at all.

Hope there is a Profec A user out here.

See you around.
