I have a customer (i supply nitrous fills, parts and tuning advice) with a Rover 827 , never the coolest car on the block but the guy is tuning on a budget and has some great ideas

Anyhow due to the shortage of tuning parts for this engine he decided on nitrous , thats where i came in , i helped him design and set up his nitrous system on the road and we recently visited a rolling road for some more set up

http://www.rollingroadtune.co.uk/RRoad/ ... Rover2.pdf

We have some clutch issues which we hope to solve and then we are going to try some bigger jets but the car goes very well on nitrous

70-90 in 1.5 seconds !!!

Has he spoken to moto build as they specialise in rover and mg tuning. That thing must torque steer like a female dog when the nitrous kicks in. Nice work though :)

used to have a manual fastback run around (bought simply because the van blew its g/box and needed something with a towbar quickly).............

very quickly as it turned out, spent the first month cussing it for being dog slow, until i realised i travelled everywhere at "blur" mph!!!

funniest one was catching a saph cossie on the autobahn in traffic - he obviously got upset that this

meant to be around 300hp but he has spare engines so we will test until destruction, total build cost so far is
