TomTom one V3 is a great entry level satnav. Comes with everything you need, Incar holder, incar charger. Stick it on your sceen and away you go.
What maps do you need? GB, ire, europe. Versions have optional maps included.
Amazon appear to have a GB only version of the one for

I have a Tom Tom Go 910 :-D Couldn't be happier with it!! Easy to use, loads of features including remote, hands free bluetooth, picture sharing, mp3, over 100 voices and languages, quickroute.....which means that you can punch in the time you would like to be at your destination and it will automatically find the quickest route, too much to list really! It will even read a storybook to the kiddies in the back whilst still using the nav. and a big screen to boot!! Hope this helps  Oh, and this is my first sat nav to own, VERY user friendly!

I agree about the tomtom 910. Have one myself and it has never let me down.

It even got Stu and I quicker to the Ring than Dunk !!

We were at the petrol station, filled up and waiting in the queue even before you boys were anywhere near the Ring !!!

Seriously though the 710 or 910 are the best sat navs.

.... only because we filled up down the road. :D

Still cant figure what route you took there that took you through Holland

TomTom - great for useability
Navman - better features but a little bit harder to use
Garmin - not their mainstay - they are best at off road GPS.

There's a reason TomTom is the market leader, but like with mobile phones, (Nokia and eveything else) there are others work looking at. Go to a large branch of Halfords. Tell them you want 2, and they'll be putty in your hands!
Good luck (And yes, Ive a TomTom)
