Radiator problems in my '96 S14...

Takes about half a week to go through all of the coolant in my radiator! :x Has been giving signs of overheating about once a day. Top hose looks good and tight, and all the seals sound normal. ALL heat is gone from the heater and when I turn it on only freezing cold air comes out (never warms up). What to do??? I'm tired of filling the coolant every three days

whatever the cause, sounds like you now have an airlock hence the lack of heater..........
as above you need it sussed asap as even a small issue will become a nightmare in short time

Have you drained the system recently?
Is there any leaks?
Does the car smoke?

Don't like to say this and I hope i'm wrong, but it sounds like you may have a head gasket problem :(
But then again what do I know.... I drive a Ford.

Haven't fully drained the system since I bought it in June.
when i turn it off, it does sound like something hot is dripping onto the ground, maybe coolant from the lower rad outlet?
no smoke, thank God!

Any queries Ian???

:) - Bryan, I wasted 2 months on my car when Gary could have figured it out in ten minutes ... he's your best bet for a quick turnaround.

Not totally narrowed down yet,

Headgasket
Cracked head
Cracked block
Liner shifted :x :x
Rad fooked
Water pump fooked
Thermostat fooked
Fan fooked

Any of the above,

J.
