i now need some tyres.

but i want cheap ones.

someone reminded me there is a guy that sells part-worn's in norwich?

anyone remember where?

also i was wondering if we are able to sort out a tyre fitter for any other tyres we have already got or bought to fit for us?

haver's tyres was mentioned once?

any feedback on fitters in norwich who don't mind fitting tyres you haven't bought from them?

i did wonder if we could chip in together and buy out own tyre fitting machine?

Jim,
I see you had fun at Marham!
KMC tyres are on Sweetbriar.
I have a few personal contacts for getting tyres fitted, but they do it on the side.
I have a couple of other places to try. We need to be careful as Ian said to find somewhere who will take care of our wheels. Logic prevails that the cheapy places are unlikely to be that careful.
I think i know someone who we can do a deal with.
I am going to try some Hankook RS2's on the BMW and Skyline i think. A medium compound road legal track tyre with a road tread. These are meant to outperform any road tyre in wet or dry and be superb on track. 225/45/16 are just

Sounds good steady eddy. I will be fitting some cheap and nasty tyres for now and punish them at the next available drift session. In the meantime i will look forward to your experience of those other tyres. :-D

I got my new tyres fitted on today before i saw this thread.

I went down to SCA rally and met Rob who has the nice 200sx on here (nice to meet you mate).
Anyway they fitted my tyres on and made a good job of it, they have a special cushioned tyre machine so it wont mark your alloys if you are concerned like i was!! :?

Thanks for asking your mate Eddy, im am sure he will get some business from here in the future.

no worries Ian, glad you were happy with the service :D ...i wouldnt want to take your wheels to just anywhere either...they are stunning, would be a shame if some monkey damaged them whilst putting tyres on

regards
rob
