having fitted nos to my vr6, i thought it would be a good idea to check everything was runnig fine before using at marham next week. got some nice figures without nos, 187.5 bhp at engine (145bhp a t w) and with the nos run it ignighted and blew the induction apart, unfortunately i wasnt rcording, all i saw was the flash from the fire ball and a loud bang, feel sorry for the guys inside the sound proof room, hopefully the only damage is the plastic bits,

which kit were you using? Have you diagnosed the problem?

its a wizards of nos wet system, had just put on new leads on and had slightly damaged on of them in process causing a spark leak, though i think it ignighted internally, cant see that if the nos leaked externally how it would get forward anough with the fans blowing it backwards.

COULD BE IT ACTIVATED AT TOO LOW RPM OR not wide open throttle or maybe you need a little retard on ignition hope this helps

i think he said it blew at nearly full revs, and it may be cutting in to soon, about 85 percent throttle, will have to check, if i keep the nos on there.

what dyno mate??
a dyno operator should know that you should never hit cars rev limiter with nos
there may have been no problem....

I thought you meant the discussion of 'The Big Bang' theory as a cosmological model of the universe, whose primary assertion is that the universe has expanded into its current state from a primordial condition of enormous density and temperature
OK, maybe not

Sorry to hear that, I know what it's like when the NOS ignites, had an "incident" with Max 1 and his skyline - I even surprised myself on how quickly I can run backwards for a big man!!
