Ok so this morning was on the way to work and had a bit of an accident. I'm ok luckily and the car is still driveable. I think.
There was some damage to one of my alloys ( see attached pictures ). Now I am slightly worried about whether or not it is driveable or not. If any one could let me know that would be a great help.

Basically as i was coming out of a roundabout, I started excellerating and the front end lots traction. The back end then went out so i tried to countersteer and it flung back the other way causing me to spin then slide into a curb then the wall. This is the rest of the damage.

Thats not to bad mate, could have been alot worse if there were other cars on the same roundabout.

Yer, there was a 4x4 behind me and a FTO coming the other way. The FTO stopped to make sure I was OK . Just my wallet is going have to get burnt again to dish out for some new alloys. If any one has any for sale please let me know.

The wheel is not safe and i'd guess you wrecked your suspension too ...

Why did you have to say that Ben, Any way I can tell from looking at it whether or not the suspension has had it.
I'm thinking it might not be as I didn't hit the curb square on it was at an angle.

To see a wheel so smashed, i can't see how you haven't bent any suspension components ...
I clipped a kerb at about 50 in my 205 GTi many years ago's .. the wheel wasn't anywhere near as bad as that but my suspension was f**ked.
what the hell did you hit the bumper on ? .....

A wall. I just had a look underneath. Nothing appears to be bent and when I drove it the last couple of hundred metres to work it felt pretty normal.
This has just really hacked me off because I only got the car back 2 days ago from lack of MOT.
