Righty ho peeps, time to roller my scoob 8)
My car hasn't ever been rolling roaded before, so I popped into Clive's this morning and booked in on his nice new rollers

for Monday morning at 9 for a power run and a general good look over, who's gonna come and hold my hand? 8-[
I'm locked and loaded ready with some extra octane booster, as I feel being an old girl, she'll need all the help she can get
Graphs and figure's to follow, if they're any good
Wish me luck

I've found it to be excellent! Makes a huge difference to how my car drive's, especially if I put in two bottles at a time 8)

I've used Millers octane booster before. 1 bottle per 25ltrs of fuel so 2 bottles takes a full tank of Tesco 99RON (50ltrs in my Scooby) upto 102/103RON. That's gotta be worth having and i think the last time i bought some it was

The stuff i used is Millers CVL Turbo Octane Booster see this link:

I used to buy it from Jondel Motorsport in Northampton, unfortunately they are no longer around. However at Camskill It's about the same in price as what i used to pay.

This is the stuff that adds 4 RON ratings (40points) to 98RON. So bearing in mind we now have 99RON i reckon it will definately raise 99 to 103RON maybe even 104....yeeeehaaaa!!
However....i'm looking forward to the day when E85 is available nationwide as that will cost nearly the same as 95RON unleaded and it's rated at 104 - 107RON. Only thing is due to the corrosive nature of Ethanol you may have to change the Fuel tank and lines to stainless steel.
Can you imagine what the new advert will be for E85....
