My R32 GTR has picked up a odd glitch.

Are you running a boost controller? Is it working? Is 0.7/0.8 base actuator pressure?

Stock is 0.7 -0.8 Tony, spot on.

I am running a boost controller with the PFC I had thought it was stock boost but it struggles to hit 0.7bar at the moment. Also why would the warning light come on?

But will go check all the connections again :-D

didnt we have problems with afms when mapping it??and light coming on at high boost

Yeah they were maxing out at 1.2 bar.

I don't know where to check, all the IC pipe works been off and seems ok but the DV stuff hasn't and the boost controller pipes haven't been 100% checked as there a bugger to get to. Can i run the car with out DV's?


Guess i'll have to start again checking for any air leaks, failing that you'll get the car back to sort it :-D

2" of Yard brush handle is not for off the size for plimbing the big pipe, tighter the better, be sure to sand bits off, if you can find nothing more appropriate, and just block the small pipes. <queue hillbilly music>

Quick and easy test to see if it is the DV's, they can seize/leak.

Not necessarily mate,
Remember when the car is running and on boost you have a positive pressure acting on the back of the piston/diaphram to help keep it shut. When you let off power this turns into vacuum and helps the valve to open under the remaining boost pressure in the IC pipe. The std valves in good nick are meant to hold up to 1.5 bar according to RK!
I tested mine by removing them altogether and runing the car without. I did this by making up stainless blanking plates to go on the DV flanges.
