Need to find someone to help finish my car.

Hi all, i need to find someone to help finish my car, im at a point where im now stuck and am to unsure about things to attempt them myself, i need my cam belt fitted and timed up, oil-water hoses fitted, an apexi avcr and safc2 set up and few other bits and bobs, as the car is sat at mine i really need someone to come here to do it, and within 2 weeks :roll: lol, anyone got any ideas of who could maybe do it? getting desperate now as im almost finished and want the car back asap.

Yer he`s snowed under unfortuantly mate, and with jae as well he cant make it for a while.

Ahhh, doh!

puttin a cambelt on is not to hard mate, if you download one of the online workshop manuals it tells you how to do it :D

My tip, double check all the cam pulley line up with 1 another, then put the belt on, and before letting teh tensioner off, hand crank it round to check you are cock on when the pulley marks line up again. if they do, your away, let the tensioner off and tighten it fully, then put the covers on.

You don't need the Apexi stuff sorted to start the car, so get it running then once you know its going okay, then you can drive it somewhere to get those set up!

Oil and water hoses, best to look at lots of on-line pics etc to make sure you have them in the right place, this is where taking pics when you dismantle the car is handy :wink:

Oh and, on the little cover that bolts over the crank pulley, amke sure its a couple of millimetres away from the belt :!: Mine moved and ended up rubbing on the belt :o :o So I had to re-fit a new belt :oops:

I just really dont want to attempt it mate one mistake and the engine is buggerd to much money there for me to destroy lol, as for taking pics during the dismantle, i now that now mate lol. :lol:

I would then be tempted to get the car trailered to someone who can do it mate, might save you a load of hassle in the long run!

Think i`ll have to go with that mate, may see how busy zac is over the next few weeks :wink:

Ok anyone no anyone with a car trailer and able to tow me, will pay off course. :roll:

dude, try here, put your details in, where you wanna take it etc, and wait for the prices, saved me heaps getting my car back from Goodwood!
