After destorying my tyres at a driver trianing day on sunday I now need 4 new tyres. They were on there last legs anyway.
Just need a bit of advice what are best to go for.
I`ve got a 2003 wrx imprezza.
They will mostly be used on the road. I`m doing your virgin track session, so once i`ve done that i may do another track day or 2 so need to keep this in mind.
the only problem is that I really need to get them today.
Cheers in advance for any tips.

Not sure on what size you need but for the dry and track the Bridgestone RE070's seems to be the best, otherwise as a pure road tyre the Goodyear Eagle F1 is top notch, as its very good in the wet as well as the dry.
Another to try is a Yokohama Prada Spec II, its meant o be very grippy in the dry, not to great in the wet, but its probably soft so won't last as long as a Goodyear.
Then there is the Toyo Proxi T1-R's, tehy seem to get a good rep from teh Impreza boys as well...

RE070's all the way - wet or dry they are unbeatable if the geometry is done aswell.
How was the driver training Ian?

It was a great day very educational. I learnt a fair bit ( remember sun block) about driving on the limit.
Plus the funniest site of the day.
Charlie`s P1 was not back from scoobyclinic. So he took his land rover along!!!!! Watching him do hairpins in that was a site to see and for when he was doing the sprint circuit. I think he only ended up about 10secs slower!!!
