Another problem!?!

FFS this month is just a bad month for the Cat i think :!:
Just had a trip to Tesco's up the a11 from mine and was getting steering wobble :!: :?: :(

The car was wobbling at 70-80mph :!: and then under braking it was wobbling only slightly, however as i went around the roundabout the car made a scrapeing noise, like something was rubbing:?

So i pulled over checked the wheel and inner arch to see if that was the problem however it all seemed fine :!: :?:
Got in the car the wobble wasnt there, and when i turned into another turning the scrapeing noise wasnt there

However i turned right again and the noise was back again :!:
I'm going to get the car jacked up at some point this week to see if maybe its a wheel bearing :!:
Would i be right in this way of thinking or is there something else that it may be :!: :?:

I have tried making sure the tyre pressures are all ok and they are:!:
I'm getting narked with this car at the moment all i seem to be doing is fixing niggles and glitches

Well at least you get 10 points for the most smileys used in a post ;)

The wheel wobble could be anything from a loose weight on the wheel, loose wheel nuts etc. The scraping noise is even more ambiguous. Did you run over something? (Can or bottle etc)

I'm sure with a bit of digging around and an hour or two on the ramps you'll soon have it sorted. In terms of having to sort out loads of niggles, I try and look at it along the lines of solving one problem gets me closer to having a car with no niggles. Keep it up :thumb:

'If in doubt, open your wallet and give it to a man that knows more than you do.'
