servicing and costs?

Post by jungle-jim »

as some of you know, i MAY be in the market for another car.

i am just wondering regards servicing cost and such.

what "exactly" is in a "service" ?

plugs
filter ( air/fuel/oil )
oil

but what else?

do people do a better job of "major" services than others ( company wise ) ?

what is the typical price of a major service ( maybe gary @ APT can help here aswell as owners ) ?

EVO I II III ( is it more for a IV with AYC? )
200SX ( S13 and S14 )
skyline ( R32 or R33 GTS-T )
BMW M3 ( if possible? )
pulsar GTi-R

i do all my own servicing for may pulsar. i find things like oil filter, fuel filter and things like that are fairly cheap for the pulsar, from nissan. i can get iridium sparkies for not a bad price aswell.

Air filter: doesnt need replacing just clean (Blitz SUS)

for the pulsar i would keep away from paddle clutches as they seem to like eating gearboxs. a RPS max clutch is around
