I am looking at up rating my suspension setup to a set of Tein Mono Flex. I have heard very good reviews of this kit and I was wondering if anyone here was running a similar setup? The Skyline is getting stripped and setup as a track animal and I think this kit would work wonders on track days and another good thing is it is compatible with the EDFC.
Any advice or opinions welcome before I purchase this setup. At

I use the Tein Superstreet and they're very good. Ok for daily driving and great when the damping is stiffened on the track.

I run the tein flex. If i recal the mon flex has slightly stiffer springs.
The suspension is quite harsh on the road, even with the damping set low, although i have mine as an every day runner and i don't have a problem, it's the family that struggle. however the when teh dampers are set to hard, it makes a great track setup, but far to hard for the road and just results in the wheels skipping, rather than gripping.
Definetly go for the EDFC

I don't mean to promote my sponsor over Tien, but these D2 are Tien's competition for almost half the price!!! They don't ride as rough as the Tien's either.

if for some reason you can't view the link, go to the site and find your ride and it should be the first thing to show. I can get you a discount and seeing that you live in Essex, you can drive to pick these up so you're not paying shipping fees out your arse! 8) Owner lives in Ashen, about 10min south of Haverhill, Essex.
Hope this helps!

Can these match the Mono Flex? Mono flex is teins top of the range product that they say is ideal for track/racing which is what I want to achive. I want the best possible setup for track if these ones are as good if not better then I think its a done deal due to the price

I use the control master flex with EDFC, the same as Mike Payne, and for my mind they are very good value and do exactly what they say on the tin.
APT do deals for members James so give the boys a call on 01603 870990 and see what they reckon :thumb:

I think that these are definatley the best of both worlds, i.e. daily driving and the track. Tien might have a slight advantage on the track, but like I said the ride is a lot smoother and the cornering is unstoppable!!! 8)
